Voor de linten werd er gebruik gemaakt van de algoritmisch gegenereerde linten zoals beschreven in het technisch rapport: Vermeiren Karolien, Poelmans Lien, Pisman Ann, Vanacker Stijn, Willems Peter en Guy Engelen (2018), Kernen, linten, verspreide bebouwing in Vlaanderen. Morfologische indeling van bebouwing in Vlaanderen, studie uitgevoerd in opdracht van het Vlaams Planbureau voor Omgeving. De informatie over de voorzieningen werd gehaald uit de resultaten van de onderzoekstudie: Verachtert, E., I. Mayeres, L. Poelmans, M. Van der Meulen, M. Vanhulsel, G. Engelen (2016), Ontwikkelingskansen op basis van knooppuntwaarde en nabijheid voorzieningen. Deze studie werd uitgevoerd door VITO in opdracht van Departement Ruimte Vlaanderen en gepubliceerd op 29-02-2016.
